Confab creates a confidential, welcoming space where entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers can share authentic perspectives and honest insights. It is a place to feel good — with no pressure to perform or prove anything. It’s about being real, sharing openly, listening deeply and opening doors that strengthen yours and others positioning, authority, decisions, and business.

Back in 2017, my friend Angela Dawn invited me to a Cottage Confab hosted by Sandra Kahale. As intrigued as I was, the timing never quite aligned. Fast forward to this spring, Angela suggested I host Confabs in “Judy O style.” And so I am.

The outline for the day
10:45am Arrivals
Drop off your Pot Luck Lunch contribution into the kitchen and Enjoy light refreshments. Drop your business card or marketing piece on the table. Take a moment to take in the views and breathe the fresh air. Get oriented and settled for a day of great conversations and connection with other remarkable women.

11:15 Official Start - Welcome and information. Relaxed brief Introductions sharing your primary focus for the fall will spark connections to enjoy over lunch and ideas for deeper afternoon conversations.

12:00 Noon - Enjoy the Nutritious & Delicious POT LUCK spread - An hour of nourishing food and conversations 

1pm  - Collective Co-Creation of Breakout Topics
We’ll start by co-creating the afternoon agenda — choosing the most relevant and inspiring topics together. Then we’ll spread out into spaces like the Gazebo, Sunroom, or Hayloft for small-group conversations. Topics will emerge from our shared opportunities, challenges, and desires we face.  The topics form a foundation for learning and growth. A way for others to experience and become aware of your knowledge and expertise through your shared wisdom and ideas. Subjects might include practical and spiritual aspects of business growth and personal development. 

We have so much to talk about  - what will be most pertinent on the day that we meet?  Here's the tip of the iceberg of options to get the juices flowing.

Confab is a natural evolution — growing out of Align & Clear, The Wellness Community Network, and Remarkable Women Coffee & Connection. Decades of hosting and participating in gatherings for networking, business growth, and development now converge to enrich our maiden voyage on October 30th, 2025.

Q: Do I need to have a business to attend?
A: Not necessarily. Confab attracts women in business, but also those in creative, healing, or leadership roles. If growth, alignment, and connection call to you — you’ll feel at home.

Q: Is this like a conference?
A: Not at all. The max is 21 participants.  It’s more personal, conversational, and rejuvenating — a blend of retreat, mastermind, learning and networking in Judy O style.

Q: Will I find customers and clients here? Perhaps, but it's not a place to spray your business cards and soapbox pitch your services. Know, Like and Trust gets developed here -the foundation of huge opportunities, profitable sales to right clients, contracts, leads and far-reaching projects. Perhaps an idea that revolutionizes your life, your work, even industry.

Q: How often do you hold it?
A: Twice a year.

Q: What will I walk away with?
A: Clarity, inspiration, and aligned momentum — plus strategies, resources, and connections that make a real difference. You'll have business cards and promotional pieces you choose to pick up from the table for yourself or to share with others who you know will appreciate the referral.

Q: Can I come alone?
A: Absolutely. This event is for independent women who value meaningful connection. Many women arrive not knowing anyone, and leave with lasting connections.

Q: Can I have a conversation to really get a sense it's a fit?
A: I'd love that, especially if we've never met. Send me an email to set up a time or give me a call. Be sure to leave a message so I know it's not one of those unsolicited calls.

Q: what's your cancellation policy?
A: All registration payments made are non-refundable. They are transferable to others with advanced written notification and my confirmation.

Your registration fees are refundable or transferable to other services (no admin fee) if WE cancel the retreat for any reason.

If you submit a written request up 5 days prior to the event, Your registration fees are transferable to other services less a 20% administrative fee. Special circumstances are open to discussion prior to registration.
