A Leadership Forum for Women Leading with Their Ideas, Expertise, and Service

You never know who you'll meet — or where a single conversation may take you.

Confab is a half-day forum for soul-listening, service-oriented women leading through their ideas, expertise, and experience.

This gathering is designed for real connection and cross-pollination — where authors, creatives, wellness leaders, entrepreneurs, and thoughtful professionals come together to exchange insight, perspective, and practical wisdom.

Here, conversations illuminate the real complexity of leadership, entrepreneurship, and creative work — including the interplay between authority, positioning, timing, inner alignment, and outer success.

Confab is where thoughtful dialogue reveals possibilities and paths forward that are difficult to see alone.

See What You Can’t See Alone

Through sincere small-group conversations and shared experience, participants explore ideas, strategies, and perspectives that bring clarity to both life direction and business evolution.

You’ll experience:

  • Valuable conversations that bring relief, clarity, and fresh perspective

  • Insight that helps refine direction, decisions, and timing

  • Thoughtful exchange that strengthens confidence and authority

  • Space to explore ideas and receive intelligent feedback

  • Connections that feel natural, mutual, and genuinely useful

No grandstanding.
No hustle.
No noise.

Simply women thinking well — together.

What Makes Confab Different

Confab is not traditional networking.

It is a curated relational space for meaningful exchange, thoughtful dialogue, and practical insight.

The women who gather here are often:

  • Soul-guided entrepreneurs and professionals

  • Creators, healers, and service-oriented leaders

  • Independent women navigating self-employment realities

  • Visionary thinkers bridging the spiritual and the practical

They value autonomy, wellbeing, harmony, and meaningful work — while navigating the unknown with courage and commitment to their craft.

These are quiet women with fire in their belly, who understand that genuine connection moves the needle in life and business.

What You May Gain

Participants often leave with:

  • Actionable ideas and strategies to support sustainable growth

  • Clarity and confirmation about your niche, vision, or next step

  • Breakthrough perspective to release tension or frustration

  • Strategic thinking from exploring new approaches and processes

  • Meaningful connections that open doors to collaborations or opportunities

  • Leadership insight through think-tank style dialogue with peers

The Setting

Set against the peaceful charm of Sherwood Farm, the experience is grounding, rejuvenating, and inspiring.

Step away from daily demands and return with renewed clarity, confidence, and momentum — ready for the next chapter of your work.

The Story Behind Confab

Confab is a natural evolution of earlier communities I’ve hosted and participated in — including Align & Clear, The Wellness Community Network, and Remarkable Women Coffee & Connection.

Back in 2017, my friend Angela Dawn invited me to a Cottage Confab hosted by Sandra Kahale. I was intrigued, but the timing never quite aligned. Years later, Angela suggested I bring the spirit of Confab forward in my own way — hosting gatherings in what she called “Judy O style.”

Some of the most meaningful opportunities, ideas, and collaborations in my life have come through honest conversations and resonant exchange — both with new connections and long-held relationships.

Confab continues that spirit: a space where conversations spark perspective, introductions open doors, and shared wisdom creates growth in ways that are often unexpected and far-reaching.

First topics are co-created by the women in the room. Breakout groups form based on relevance and interest. Then we’ll spread out into spaces like the Gazebo, Sunroom, or Hayloft for small-group conversations.

This co-creative process will be interesting - and potentially enlightening in itself. Topics will emerge from opportunities, challenges, and desires we face.  The topics form a foundation for learning and growth. A way for others to experience and become aware of your knowledge and expertise through your shared experience, practice, solutions, ideas. Subjects might be topics of discussion or opportunities for feedback, from the perspectives of practical and spiritual aspects of business growth and personal development.  With so much change in the world and coming together only twice a year, we'll have so much to talk about . What will be most pertinent on the day that we meet?  What do you really need?

Here's the tip of the iceberg of options - to get the juices flowing.

  • Positioning, Marketing, Branding and Building Visibility. Brand and Credibility, Client attraction

  • Writing / Publishing, books, posts and Newsletters,  Podcast hosting and guesting,  Speaking leads and practice

  • Launch Plans and Financial strategies, Product development, promotion and distribution

  • Efficiency and Effectiveness, Workspace design,  Productivity, Planning

  • Aligning Mindset & Emotions - Dealing with challenges - Solving problems, clearing limitations and blocks

  • Emerging Trends, Evolving Industry Practices, Leaders in the field

  • Early warning signs of challenges, subtle signs of alignment, growth and success emerging

  • Tool, Apps & Resources, Systems, Strategies & Frameworks

Q&A

Q: Do I need to have a business to attend?
A: Not necessarily. Confab attracts women in business, but also those in creative, healing, or leadership roles. If growth, alignment, and connection call to you — you’ll feel at home.

Q: Is this like a conference?
A: No. Participation is limited to 21 women, making it a personal, conversational experience — a blend of retreat, mastermind, think-tank, and networking.

Q: Will I find clients or customers here?
A: Perhaps — but Confab is not a pitch room. It’s designed for authentic conversation, not for spraying business cards or soapbox-style promotion. Relationships develop naturally through trust and connection — the foundation for meaningful opportunities, collaborations, and long-term partnerships.

Q: Can attending Confab lead to financial benefits or business growth?
A: Yes — though indirectly. While CONFAB is new, many have seen real-world results: conversations and recommendations leading to tens of thousands of dollars, long-term clients, and ideas that evolve into impactful, far-reaching businesses with me. These outcomes happened naturally through sharing quality work and insight, aligned with timing and opportunity. Confab allows for an expansion and ripple effect beyond me alone. Perhaps insight or confirmation of your idea, might revolutionizes your life, your work, even industry. As I like to say, “You never know what a conversation might lead to.”

Q: How often is Confab held?
A: Twice a year. Typically Spring and Fall

Q: What will I walk away with?
Clarity, inspiration, practical insight, aligned momentum, new relationships, resources, and actionable ideas. Connection with experts with shared values for the way you like to do business. You have the opportunity to pick up business cards and promotional pieces for yourself or to enhance the lives of others through sharing.

Q: Can I come alone?
A: Absolutely. This event is for independent women who value meaningful connection. Many women arrive not knowing anyone, and leave with lasting connections.

Q: Can I have a conversation to really get a sense it's a fit?
A: I'd love that, especially if we've never met. Send me an email to set up a time or give me a call. Be sure to leave a message so I know it's not one of those unsolicited calls.
